WAYGA'S Drive, Chip, & Putt Event  (September 29, 2008)
With the season coming to an end, the Woodburn Area Youth Golf Association (WAYGA) held its final event of 2008 with ?The Drive, Chip, & Putt? sponsored by Wal-Mart. The event was full of kids, golf and most importantly, a lot of smiles and awards. Children ages 5-13 competed in three contests: driving, chipping, and putting with awards going to the top three contestants in each contest and age division.
The First Tee Program is in Full Swing at the OGA Golf Course  (July 28, 2008)
With more than 100 children joining the Woodburn Area Youth Golf Association (WAYGA) and nearly 20 children attending each First Tee class at the OGA Golf Course, the program, in its first year of operation has beat all expectations.
First Tee Registration Now Open  (March 29, 2008)
Registration is now open for The First Tee clinics at the OGA Golf Course. Junior Membership in WAYGA entitles kids 6-17 the opportunity to partake in any and all planned sessions (at their prescribed level).
Myrick Elected OGA President  (March 26, 2008)
At its annual meeting held recently at Tualatin Country Club, OGA Directors representing more than 300 member clubs formally elected Lynn M. Myrick of Grants Pass, Ore. as President of the Oregon Golf Association.
FREE YOUTH CLINICS DURING SPRING BREAK  (March 05, 2008)
WAYGA in conjunction with the OGA Golf Course will host three free youth clinics during Spring Vacation, Tuesday through Thursday, March 25 to 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at the course. Since we are limited to 48 participants we encourage pre-application on the form available at the golf course or being distributed through the Woodburn area schools.
