WAYGA's Summer Programs Set to Begin
With summer sessions just a few weeks away, the Woodburn Area Youth Golf Association (WAYGA) is gearing up for what promises to be an exciting full summer of golf. Partnering with The Children?s Course in Gladstone as well as Senior Estates Golf and Country Club, the 2009 program will be providing WAYGA members several aspects of the game of golf on and off the course.

WAYGA's Spring Break Clinic is Just Around the Corner
The Woodburn Area Youth Golf Association, in conjunction with the OGA Golf Course will host two youth clinics during Spring Vacation, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 24th to 25th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the course. Cost is $10/child and will include both days of the clinic as well as lunch on Wednesday. We encourage pre-registration through the OGA Golf Shop. WAYGA'S Drive, Chip, & Putt Event

With the season coming to an end, the Woodburn Area Youth Golf Association (WAYGA) held its final event of 2008 with ?The Drive, Chip, & Putt? sponsored by Wal-Mart. The event was full of kids, golf and most importantly, a lot of smiles and awards. Children ages 5-13 competed in three contests: driving, chipping, and putting with awards going to the top three contestants in each contest and age division.
